What is a bid increment?

A bidding increment is the amount by which a bidder must outbid a current bid if he wants to bid. A bidding increment is fixed at 500,-- Euro.

What is the first bid increment?

The first bidding step is always the starting price. No bid will be accepted below this price. From this bid on, the following bids are based on the bidding increments, which you can see in the table below.
The bid for the starting price of an auction is the lowest possible amount that the first bidder may submit. The amount is indicated when you place a bid. The starting bid is at least 5.000,-- Euro.
